Zeppelin restaurant specializes in dough dishes, from pelmeni to ravioli, and the name comes from the national dish of Lithuania, Cepelinai or zeppelins: potato dumplings stuffed with ground meat.
For this industrial-style project, we designed an open-kitchen that allows the guests to watch the entire cooking process. The dough dishes inspired us to create irregular clay forms, displayed on a LED-lighted wall, a reminder of the dough used in the kitchen.
As the dough, they bear the unique fingerprints of the hands. Because who would imagine a pie that is not handmade?
